City of Yorba Linda’s history dates back to 1769 as part of a Spanish expedition exploring the now Orange County area. Yorba Linda reaches a total area of 20 square miles and is located approximately 37 miles southeast of Downtown Los Angeles a population center of over 67,000 residents. One of the reasons Yorba Linda is so attractive to live, is the due to its landscaping and extensive trial system. There are approximately 100 miles of equestrian, biking and walking trails in the city. In addition, the city offers well-maintained horse trails and state of the art equestrian arenas. Yorba Linda has been ranked among the best places to live and identified as one of the richest cities in the U.S. Yorba Linda receives an average of 14 -15 inches of rainfall per year with average temperatures in the winter around 55 and 71 degrees, with overall average for the year at 63 degrees. Yorba Linda is the birthplace of the 37th President, Richard Nixon and home to the famous Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum.
